GAME REVIEW: Scott Pilgrim VS. The World: Complete Edition

While I have never read any of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels and never played the original game, I absolutely loved the movie based on Scott Pilgrim. When I saw this game was to be released for the Switch, I thought about picking it up because the gameplay footage reminded me of TMNT: Turtles in Time which was one of my favorite games at the arcade back in the day. I decided to pick it up once it went on sale in the eShop and it is one of my favorite purchases for 2021. This game is incredibly fun, beautifully designed and the perfect beat em up game to add to your collection. My biggest regret is that I didn’t pull the trigger and purchase the @limitedrungames physical copy when it was announced. The story is also remarkably in line with the movie which I found very fun having never played the original release. If you like this style of game play then I highly recommend picking up the next time it comes around on @ubisoft monthly sale.
